An introduction to my approach as a New Hampshire wedding photographer serving New England and beyond.

Hi, my name is Jana—pronounced Yana—and I have a pinch-me moment every single day.


I don’t know how I can be so blessed to play such a meaningful role in capturing life’s most beautiful moments, but please know I never take it for granted. Photography has given me a creative outlet, but even more than that, it has connected me to so many unique stories, chapters, and people. My clients hold such a special place in my heart, and it’s for that reason that I continue to show up with passion, enthusiasm, and joy—every single time I pick up my camera.


My approach to photography is rooted in connection. I believe the most powerful images are created when you feel comfortable, present, and fully yourself. My goal is to capture moments that mean the most—the quiet in-between glances, the laughter that bubbles up unexpectedly, the emotion that can’t be staged. Those are the memories that last.


Stylistically, my work lives in the sweet spot between classic and candid. I love true-to-color imagery with a romantic, slightly moody feel, while still honoring timeless, traditional portraits that will never go out of style. I’ll absolutely guide and pose you when needed (no awkward “what do I do with my hands?” moments here), but I’m always encouraging you to simply be in the moment. As soon as you warm up in front of the camera, the nerves melt away—and that’s when the magic happens.


I pride myself on finding those “in-between” moments: the ones that feel effortless, honest, and deeply personal. The moments you may not even realize are happening, but end up meaning everything when you look back.


Beyond the images themselves, I truly care about the people in front of my lens. I’m a warm, personable person by nature, and I tend to get attached—to my clients, their stories, and the love they share. I genuinely wish the very best for each couple I work with, and I hope to stay connected long after the wedding day has passed.


I can’t wait to continue this blog as a space where I can share more of the stories I’m so lucky to witness—wedding days filled with emotion, engagement sessions full of laughter, and the little moments in between that make each chapter so special. I hope this becomes a place where you can feel inspired, encouraged, and excited about documenting your own story in a way that feels true to you.
