Hi, my name is Jana—pronounced Yana—and I have a pinch-me moment every single day.
My approach to photography is rooted in connection. I believe the most powerful images are created when you feel comfortable, present, and fully yourself. My goal is to capture moments that mean the most—the quiet in-between glances, the laughter that bubbles up unexpectedly, the emotion that can’t be staged. Those are the memories that last.
A 2023 bride-turned-wedding photographer. Wedding planning showed me how beautiful it can be to plan for, and document, some of the most special moments in life. Big, or small, I want to help commemorate the moments that matter most to you.
What to Expect
imagery Rooted in authenticity
Stylistically, my work lives in the sweet spot between classic and candid. I love true-to-color imagery with a romantic, slightly moody feel, while still honoring timeless, traditional portraits that will never go out of style. I’ll absolutely guide and pose you when needed (no awkward “what do I do with my hands?” moments here), but I’m always encouraging you to simply be in the moment. As soon as you warm up in front of the camera, the nerves melt away—and that’s when the magic happens.
